The aim of Organic September – Small Changes, Big Difference is to show the difference consumers can make by switching just one household item to organic. During the month of September consumers will be actively encourage to make a small change to their shopping basket and see what a difference they can make.
If you're wondering what these changes might be, some ideas include switching to organic milk, eggs or apples, choosing an organic moisturiser or buying an organic cotton T-shirt. To help, many local independent, online and national retailers will be holding events and offering discounts and the Soil Association is hosting key events throughout the month.
The Soil Association Organic Health & Beauty Weekend on 7-8 September celebrates organic beauty products with regional events and discount vouchers, the winners of the Organic Food Awards supported by Seeds of Change will be announced on 19 September and the Organic Fashion & Textiles Weekend on 21-22 September will be a focal point for organic textiles and fashion brands and retailers.
