Hotly tipped as one to watch, Temara Melek will release her new single Karma's Not Pretty in September this year. Having had a sneak preview of the single we can confirm that this track is a delicious morsel of classic teen pop that we won't be forgetting anytime soon, have a listen for yourself via the link at the end of the article.
But Temara didn't do all the hard work alone, the songstress co-wrote the song with The Voice USA 2012 winner Cassadee Pope, and it was produced by award winning team Stacey Jones and Mike Schmid who worked hard to get the incredible Miley Cyrus to where she is today.
When asked about the inspiration behind the intriguingly named single, Temara coyly revealed: "In 'Karma's Not Pretty' I am singing about a UK celebrity whose relationship didn't end up with a happy-ever-after. I am basically warning him 'what goes around comes around' in a fun way though... We're still great friends"
We can't wait to see what Temara will be wearing in the video for the track which has just been shot in LA and features cameo appearances from US TV Show Pretty Little Liars stars Keegan Allen and Gregg Sulkin.
Temara will kick off her UK nationwide Karma Tour in association with SJM Concerts after the release of her new single. You can catch her headlining at the O2 Academy Islington on 7th August, then taking her live show across the UK later in the year, with dates to be announced in July.
