Now that he's gaining some much deserved recognition, Miko Spinelli has proudly added Selfridges and Luisa Via Roma to his stockist list following the success of his debut collection. Cleverly putting a contemporary spin on animal print and embroidery, Miko has established a strong signature look that simply couldn’t be mistaken for anyone else. The collection offers a diverse range of jackets from bold acid hues with magnified snakeskin print, to the minimal classic bomber with contrast nappa leather sleeves for a more subtle approach.
As with every single piece, the cut and quality of the fabrics are exquisite, however, this SS13 sees new shapes including a hybrid of a classic denim and biker jacket, with contrasting panels of luxurious, subtle suede animal prints.
Other key pieces worthy of note include the leopard print denim varsity, formed by eroded denim and a raw edged outline, and the classic denim jacket enhanced with metallic gold threads, with an outline of subtle zebra print, giving a whole new refreshing feel to the traditional wardrobe staple.
